following is a list of volunteer jobs available for this
summer at Judson Baptist Camp. Individuals may apply to work for one to
three weeks by arrangement with the Program Director. Applications should
reach the camp three weeks prior to week applying, to assure scheduling
for your convenience. |

All volunteers are required to attend pre-camp training beginning at 9:00 AM. This is the morning before your camp begins. All Judson Baptist Camp staff are chosen on the basis of their personal relationship with Jesus Christ as evidenced by their desire to serve Him in the camp and their ability to work with children and adults. |
SENIOR COUNSELOR
June 16 - August 2, 2008
AGE: 19 AND UP
The central person in the ministry of a Christian Camp is the Sr. Counselor.
His/Her role is to spend twenty-two(22) hours per day participating in the
program and interacting with his/her campers in a way that will lead the
young person to a meaningful experience in Christian living |
JUNIOR COUNSELOR
June 16 - August 2, 2008
AGE: 15 AND UP
The Junior Counselor acts as an assistant to the Senior Counselor. He/She
plays a vital role in the ministry by living, participating and interacting
with the campers for twenty-two (22) hours per day. His/her performance
must serve as a witness in Christian living to other young people. |
JUNIOR CAMP SERVICE PERSONNEL (CSP)
June 16 - August 2, 2008
AGE: 15 AND UP
The Junior CSP performs routine maintenance and housekeeping tasks as assigned by the Senior CSP. Their manual tasks are necessary functions in the overall operation of the camp. |
JUNIOR WRANGLER
June 16 - august 2, 2008
AGE: 16 AND UP
Requirements: CHA elementary certificate or comparable horsemanship experience.
Responsibilities of the Jr. Wrangler will include assistance in daily instructional session, trail rides, and care of the horses and tack. The position is designed to provide training and experience for future consideration as assistant wrangler. |
